...and on that note...
Last night was more of a nude theme (with a touch of pink) I had going on. Ever since my parents placed me on this strict budget, I've been recycling my clothes a lot more and it has been yielding great results. 

I purchased this light pink bustier from lulus.com over a year ago but never really knew what to wear it with, especially as I'm not really a Jeans" person.
I think it went pretty well with my cream skirt and nude open-toe heels I was wearing!

I'm not a make up expert and my routine is very very basic,I like to pair my outfits with a big smile and I always captivate the room!
(Don't ask me why my hand is in my hair a lot, I do that when I'm not sure what to do with it,it's not supposed to be a sexy stunt!

After the storm...comes the Rainbow

As we all know by now, I am a colour freak and usually the more, the better! (Note there are exceptions to this Law!)
This outfit is no excpetion to my philosophy. I must say it's quite a stretch from the very conservative colours everyone else wears to work but I love to stand out.

SLT=Sexy Little Thing

I'm not one to show too much skin BUT from time to time, I enjoy showing off what God and hard work have blessed me with and this sexy little number does the trick!
 I got it almost 2 years ago off of www.asos.com for about $25 or less.
I've actually worn this to work before, the trick is, I throw on a pair of tights and a blazer and voila!

I decided to pair this cute dress with colorful accessories from H&M and the Burlington Coat Factory.

Now let's talk about the bra I'm wearing...
I have a bigger bust (36D's) yet I'm attracted to backless and strapless outfits. I discovered the solution! A bra I picked up at Sears last year for about $23. It has severe padding at the front because the support at the back is very minimal. At the back, there's this faux diamond chain that hooks from one end to another so it gives you the ease of mind that you're boobs won't pop out at any minute,but also doesn't give you that thick,unattractive strap at the back. To be honest it is a LITTLE BIT uncomfortable, but what the heck, you need to give a little to get a little.

More African Print-Straight from Cameroon

    Sooo my mom had this beautiful print dress sewn for me during one of her visits to Cameroon.
Our seamstresses are so creative & were able to have this sewn perfect to size without my physical presence! My mom went with a picture of me and they were able to sew a variety of beautiful dresses for me that all fit perfectly.

I like wearing this one to work and it reminds me of the 1960s mid-length shift dresses.
