Nuit Blanche-A personal review

Hello there my fellow bishes!
I had the privilege of attending Nuit Blanche Last night, which is a night of artistic showcasing that happens once a year in Toronto. The whole of downtown Toronto is transformed into art of some form and you can hop around from one area to another to view anything from ethnic drumming, to fashion show cases to architectural hors d'oeuvres to paintings to real-life depictions of art. The festivities start at 7:03 pm and go on all night!
I couldn't do it all so I selected what would interest me-which was of course fashion- and went for it.
After being taken to a delicious dinner at my favorite restaurant- The Keg, my friend and I started our walk in downtown Toronto. It was amazing to see so many people bustling downtown, heading to different areas and unfortunately there were the drunken students out & about as well, probably club-hopping.
My friend and I headed to the Yorkville Design Centre to see the fashion pieces on display, but not before being swamped by a crowd of couples dancing to some sultry Latin music on the side walk! We just had to join them for a short while.
After the Yorkville Design Centre, we headed a little SOuth to hear some Korean drummers!

The picture quality isn't the best because believe it or not, I forgot my camera at work! ( Yes,I use my camera at work) Sorry.

I didn't necessarily get some of the pieces and would probably not wear them but they were certainly eye-catching.

HAD TO LOOK CUTE!

Color blocking-One last glimpse of Summer

I decided to do a quickie for you guys tonight! This outfit once again highlights my colors for Fall-greens and browns. I love these photos that were taken by my friend,he's the best! :)

I really love the flowy skirt,it's versatile and comfortable. I got it from Katie boutique (yes, I love me some Katie boutique). I'll admit though that the slip beneath is a little too short for my liking so I may have to replace it with a longer one.
The tank is an oldie oldie from H&M and the heels were "stolen" from my mom about a year ago- Love u mom! :)
Pointy heels are "in" apparently, but I've always loved them. They make my legs look longer (no,seriously they do) and slimmer. They also give off this more "polished" vibe I can't really describe.

I started off with my braids in this cut bun and then ditched it to let it all fall down to show you how I would accessorize with the different hair styles.
Enjoy the pictures-which are why you came.

I GOT MY "BASKETBALL WIVES" hoops earrings from etsy.com!

 and the hair came down...

Fall for Fashion..Back to School

I hate to admit it,but Fall is almost here! I've tried to push it away but on Wednesday morning,it felt like below 0 here and some people were actually wearing coats!
Well Fall comes with 1 good thing-Fall fashion! My personal theme for Fall is: clean cut pants and dresses along with colors ranging from Brown's,Orange,Grey,Black and Shades of pink and Nude. That's not to say I won't throw in tons of color as you have come to expect from me! :)
Here's my first post for Fall and it's more of a "back-to-school" look for those of you attending school!

This $20 sweater from H&M is a perfect way to stay warm but fashionable this Fall. You can easily layer it with a nice Collared shirt beneath and throw on either some pants or a nice pencil skirt!
H&M has a wide selection of sweaters at great prices right now so do check them out.

I personally wanted to give it a male twist with the cargo pants and oxfords but I added my feminine touch with my cute little headband form ebay.ca and the pink of the sweater! Enjoy the look, let me know how you would pair it personally.

You can get the sweater here: (my bright pink colour is not feat on the site) http://www.hm.com/ca/product/04156?article=04156-B

The bag is from Zara.
The Oxfords are from Forever 21

Thanks for commenting! I love you.

Where there are colors, there is inspiration.
**Thank you so kindly for your comments, they make my day! If you leave the link to your blog I shall check it out and most likely follow you but please follow back.**
